Life In The Elwha

image

We’re all really happy to be home. There is a lot to do, but it’s great to be home. Dad has been walking several times a day, for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. The scenery here is a nice change from the halls of UW Medical Center. We’ve had several visitors, and have really enjoyed the company. Papa Gordie (pictured above) is here now, and we’re chatting about life and beer.

  1. Hey Mike and Gordy……..two good looking men enjoying the scenery and having a great conversation. I’m sure the discussion has already included the merits of stout vs whimpy ale beer.

    No matter the choice, you can go wrong with either one. Yor’re both entitled to enjoy whatever suits your fancy.

    I would like to offer an Irish toast on such a special occasion as to your home coming and your quick and full recovery and especially that you are enjoying the presence of your great dad.

    here goes;
    ” May the winds of fortune sail you,
    May you sail a gentle sea.
    May it always be the other guy
    who says, ” this drink’s on me”

    by Kevin Kane.

    All the best to your both,
    Dallas & Donna
